We Repaired a Competitor's Stock — service attitude case study

The Challenge

A customer came to us in trouble. A shipment of standees from a competitor had arrived damaged. The original factory refused to take the stock back or offer replacements. The customer was looking at a significant write-off.

What We Did

The damaged product wasn't ours. The customer wasn't ours. But they needed help, so we took the work on as a service gesture. Our team examined the damaged stock and successfully repaired around 70% of the units.

The Result

The customer recovered most of the value of the damaged shipment. They didn't need to buy
replacements. They didn't need to argue with a competitor's factory. They did, however,
remember who picked up the phone when their own supplier wouldn't.

They buy from us now.
