Engineering for Reality - 18 Hours of Battery. For Displays That Cannot Go Dark.

Circuit board engineering close-up

The Challenge

A client operated in environments where power outages were frequent and branded displays going dark mid-shift was unacceptable. Standard battery tabletops offered 4–6 hours of backup — nowhere near enough for the operational demands of a full working shift.

What We Did

We redesigned the power architecture to deliver 18 hours of backup — enough to survive a full shift plus a full outage without plugging in. We also developed a no-battery variant for budget-sensitive customers who wanted the form factor without the battery system.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit.

The Result

The client got displays that stayed lit when they needed them most. The catalogue got two new variants — premium battery-backed, and no-battery — built to serve completely different customer segments.

What These Stories Have in Common

None of these projects were in our catalogue. Most of them weren't in anyone's catalogue. Every one of them started with a customer asking for something we hadn't built before. That's the work.

"We Say Yes Before We Know How."

Our Approach

At Cuboc, customisation isn't an exception. It's one of our core strengths.

Understand the actual requirement

Not the version that fits our existing products — the real one, from the real environment.

Explore what's possible

Sometimes that means 203 versions of it. We iterate until the solution is right.

Build for the use case

Not for the catalogue photo. Every component, every decision, serves the real-world application.

Stand behind the outcome

Even when the situation isn't our fault. We're invested in the result, not just the delivery.

Your Turn

Have a Requirement We Haven't Seen?

Good. Those are our favourite kind.
